Most commonly, this is because some other device has connected to the Control Module's wi-fi, or because the wi-fi signal between the two devices is weak.

  • Confirm Control Module is powered on (should see LED lights illuminated on Module)
  • Ensure there are no metal obstructions between Module and Android device, and that they are within a reasonable distance (around 20 feet if through glass)
  • Confirm that no other device (e.g. your cell phone) is currently connected to the Ditch Assist Module. Only one connection is allowed at one time. Best practice is to turn off the Wi-Fi on your cell phone when using Ditch Assist
  • Power cycle the Control Module and attempt connection again
